ATS: Ammonium Thiosulfate

Ammonium Thiosulfate (ATS 12-0-0-26S)

Ats Bottle

ATS is a standard product of the U.S. fluid fertilizer industry. Adding Ammonium Thiosulfate (ATS) (12-0-0-26S) to UAN solutions is the economical, effective and convenient way to stabilize and maximize costly nitrogen and increase your NUE value. It's elementary-ATS stabilizes and maximizes your nitrogen, improving your nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), resulting in more available N to your crop. ATS enhances UAN solution by aiding in reducing nitrogen losses from leaching, de-nitrification and volatilization.

ATS stabilizes your UAN solution and provides needed sulfur for your crop. When UAN is applied alone, it may alter the N:S ratio and put soils out of balance. ATS helps high yielding crops get the right amount of nitrogen and sulfur on which they depend. Also, sulfur improves soil structure, increases water infiltration and helps break down crop residue.

ATS is a solid investment to your N fertility program and over the past 30 years, sales of ATS have steadily increased owing to its natural advantages:

  • Compatibility with most fluid NPK sources
  • More rapid oxidation than elemental sources
  • Higher analysis than other fluid sulfur(s) sources
